BJE's Center for Excellence in Day School Education is currently assisting 17 BJE-affiliated schools - five through the Jim Joseph High School Affordability Initiative and twelve through Generations LA – to work towards ensuring a sustainable future through endowment development with the aim to make Jewish day school education more accessible to more children and families. With BJE's support, these 17 schools have already raised a total of over $30 million in cash and planned endowment gifts.

BJE March of the Living: Application CLOSED for 2015

California Pride on March of the LivingEnrollment has passed and the trip is full.   Over 190 teens and survivors, along with tweny BJE staff will once again join thousands of teens from over 40 countries to comemmorate Hollocaust Remembrance Day in Poland, march from Auschwitz to the death camp in Birkenau.  For those of you who are unable to go, join your relatives, friends, and family through our daily updated social media feeds using Instagram, Facebook, and BJE's own traveloge.  

Travel dates: April 13 - 27, 2015 This life-transforming journey fosters an endurng attachment to Judaism and to Israel.  Upon leaving Birkenau, teens travel to Israel and observe Israel's Remembrance Day for Fall soldiers (Yom ha'Zikaron) and celebrated Israel's Independence Day (Yom Ha'Atzmaut) experiencing the joy and significance of Israel’s independence.  Click HERE for more information!

We hope you will watch it and feel inspired to say to yourself, "I WILL make it happen!" instead of "What difference will it make?"

EPIC Israel - June 16 - July 9, 2015

Epic Israel 2015 is a 3 ½ week Israel experience for current 10th & 11th graders in the Los Angeles area.  This program has a focus in community service and social action, allowing participants to engage in hands-on service in Israel, while meeting with influential Israelis who are working for change in the Jewish State.
