BJE offers ongoing personnel-related consultation to the lay leaders and professionals serving the 30,000 students in BJE affiliated schools in the Greater Los Angeles area. The Department of School Personnel Services recruits educators throughout the year to serve in our day schools, yeshivot and religious schools. Each year we refer candidates to more than 250 different positions in our system of over 150 schools. The Department accomplishes this through the use of a computerized data base of candidates and of teaching and administrative positions.
BJE offers a variety of discounts available for educators. It has also developed and promoted a BJE-sponsored 403(b) retirement plan and a Section 125 "Flex" Cafeteria plan for educators in our schools.
