L'DOR V'DOR: Digital Edition July 20 - August 21, 2020

'Kol Yisrael Arevim Ze La'Ze' - As A Community, We Are Responsible For One Another

Calling teens with a passion for making an IMPACT! Join us for a service learning opportunity for high school students.  Apply to virtually “adopt a grandparent,” in partnership with senior living communities! This is a unique opportunity for teens to engage with those unable to have visitors and interact with others during the COVID-19 quarantine period, with the hopes of developing long lasting friendships.  

Who: Incoming 9th - 12th Graders

What: Accepted applicants will be matched with a resident from the Jewish Home for the Aging.  The program consists of the following:

•    One virtual orientation training
•    Video chatting once a week with a resident from the Jewish Home for the Aging
•    Weekly cohort reflection workshop
•    Program Culmination 

When: July 20 - August 21, 2020 

Where: From the comfort of your own home!  All you need is access to Zoom :)
Participants will receive 8 hours of community service for full program participation.
