Chen, a graduate of L.A. BJE-accredited Jewish day schools, served in an elite Intelligence Unit in the Israeli army for 2 years after graduating high school. Returning to Los Angeles, she earned a B.A. at UCLA.  In addition to having worked at two local day schools, Chen brings administrative experience from service at an accountancy firm and, most recently, at a synagogue.
