Deborah Reissman

Deborah joined BJE's Donor and Community Relations in the fall of 2008.  Since then she has helped facilitate numerous fundraising campaigns, redesigned and developed multiple websites, designed all email campaigns and oversees all digital and CRM activities. She manages the event logistics for all of BJE's annual galas and other donor events.  

She came to BJE after two years at Shalhevet High School, a BJE-accredited school, as the assistant to the head of school.   

Prior to working in a Jewish educational setting, Deborah worked for decades in the entertainment industry in multiple capacities - most recently as the Head of Physical Production and Post-Production for mid-level budget films.     

She comes to BJE with an MFA in Theatre Administration from Yale School of Drama, and a B.A. in Political Science from UCSB. 

She lives in the San Fernando Valley with her husband and her dogs Darwin and Frida Rose.
