BJE'S RESHET-LA Network: Summer Training in Responsive Classroom

BJE's Reshet-LA's Religious School Educators Network is hosting a day long (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) training with a certified Center for Responsive Schools facilitator.  Location is TBD.  To register, contact David Lewis at the information below.  If your school would like to host, please contact David Lewis.  This training opportunity is open to all Network Members, and any of your teachers.  Network members do not have to be present for your teachers to participate.  

This pedagogy, is applicable for classrooms of all learners types and ages.  Please know that Responsive Classroom has many facets to their approach (6 in total), and that each one is requires a separate day of learning and training.  We will start with the 'unit' on Improving Teacher and Student Language as this unit will give our teachers new skill sets to use immediately at the beginning of school this year.  If there is interest in engaging in a second Responsive Classroom unit this year/moving forward, we will facilitate a second unit on Interactive Modeling.
